# Safety

If you build with Civitai's generation API, our rules apply to your requests and your users' requests. Input images are checked, and generated images that break our rules are withheld.

For what Civitai doesn't allow and how we keep generation and sharing safe, see [How Civitai Keeps Generation and Sharing Safe](https://civitai.com/safety/how-we-keep-it-safe) in the Civitai Safety Center.
